This document ("Terms of Use") sets forth the terms and conditions between Sperantus ("we", "us", or "the Company") and you ("User" or "you"), governing the use of the Shopify application S&T - Shipping Order Creator ("Application") whose purpose is to connect to the Stock & Trace system ("Stock & Trace") and operate on your Shopify store (“Store”).

Purpose of the Document
This Terms of Use aims to establish the rules and guidelines for using the Application, in order to ensure a fair and secure experience for all parties involved.

Additional Service
The Application is offered as an additional service to Stock & Trace users, hoping it will be useful for their needs. However, its operation is not guaranteed and does not form part of the service agreements of Stock & Trace.

Acceptance of Terms and Authorization
By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this document and declare that you are authorized to use the data from the Stock & Trace instance you use. The Application will use the Stock & Trace credentials provided by you to access the respective Stock & Trace account and will be able to access all the information that such credentials allow to access.

Session Storage
By installing the Application on your Store, you authorize the Application to access your Store data, including product, order, and customer information, through a session provided by Shopify. This session is securely stored in our database for the period you use the Application and will be deleted from our database the moment you uninstall the Application. Under no circumstances will the session or the data it accesses be misused.

Credential Storage
To maintain a secure connection with Stock & Trace, the credentials you provide will be securely stored in our database. We guarantee that access data will remain confidential and will not be shared, sold or misused.

Adding Metafields in Products and Orders
The Application has the need to add metafields to the products and orders of your Shopify store as part of its essential operation. This process is carried out with the explicit consent of the User and is a necessary requirement to allow the proper functioning of the Application. The Application does not modify existing data on your Shopify products and orders. This includes, but is not limited to, pricing, quantities, line items, and any other related data. We operate in a non-intrusive manner and any changes are limited to the aggregation of specific metafields or functions agreed upon with your explicit consent.

Data Privacy and Security
We are committed to protecting your data privacy and ensuring the security of any personal information collected through the Application. We will take all reasonable steps to protect the data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
The manner in which the user shares the reports generated with the Application, and their potentially private information, is not the responsibility of Sperantus. Users should be aware that any information shared through these reports is their responsibility and not that of Sperantus.

Intellectual Property Rights
The Application and any related materials, including software, documentation, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of the Company or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Application for the purpose specified in this document. You shall not duplicate, reproduce, or reverse engineer the Application.

Limitation of Warranty
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available". Although we will make our best effort to keep it updated and running, nor we or Shopify cannot offer any guarantee that it will always be available and functioning correctly.

Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Company nor Shopify be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from the use of or inability to use the Application.

Proper Use
You agree to use the Application solely for the purpose specified in this document. In case of misuse, we reserve the right to cancel its use and take any other action we deem appropriate.

Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, upon written notice to the other party. Upon termination, you shall immediately cease using the Application and delete any related materials.

This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how Sperantus collects, uses, and protects the personal information of users of the Shopify Application S&T - Shipping Order Creator ("Application").

Information collected
The Application collects the following user information:
- Stock & Trace API Token
- Domain of the Stock & Trace instance
- Session granted by Shopify
- Store domain
No other personal information is requested or stored by Sperantus. The API Token, and domain of the Stock & Trace instance are requested solely for the Application to generate the authentication token required to access Stock & Trace data. The session granted by Shopify is used to access the user's store data through a secure connection and the domain to keep track of the setup created by the user and ensure proper interaction with the store.
These credentials are securely stored by Sperantus. Sperantus does share any of the user’s Shopify account information or data with third parties.

Use of information
The application will utilize the provided credentials to request the required information from Stock & Trace and use it to update the product catalog of the user's Shopify store. Additionally, it will transmit information from Shopify to Stock&Trace to facilitate the generation of shipping orders as per the user's preferences. Please note that the user's Shopify account credentials and information will not be shared with third parties or other customers. Sperantus does not access or employ this information for any purpose other than delivering the application's service.
