3PL
The services required by customers of companies that offer 3PL logistics, is increasing. Now customers not only want to store a product but also give it added value, for that we created our Stock & Trace logistics system, which offers the tools to have a reliable inventory and manage the different flows of a 3PL's customers.
These are some of the main features that you will find:
Multiple clients: Due to the nature of 3PLs, different types of clients are handled, the flows can be diverse, as well as their traceability.
Administration of different warehouses: Each of them with specific permissions of who can make movements or only queries.
Diversity of products: You can have control of different units of measure; example: Piece, liters, kilos, meters, box, etc.
Fulfillment sequence: To comply with the fulfillment sequence control required by 3PL customers, such as FIFO, LIFO and expiration date
Billing reports: We have a tool that will allow you to run reports of the charges to be billed, whether of maneuvers, storage or additional charges that are configurable per client.
Access for your customers: Keeping your customers up to date on their inventory, receipts and shipments, is very easy with Stock & trace, from unlimited access to users with only consultation and limitation of the information they can consult.
Automatic notifications: It allows creating and programming personalized notifications for each client, of various events that happen in the warehouse (entries, exits, discrepancies, photos of damage, final inventories, etc.).
Bar code: Receipt and shipping operations can be performed with the use of scanners, making the process more efficient by a decrease of data capture errors.
Cycle counts : It is very easy to keep your inventories up to date, performing cycle counts in a quick and easy way.
Attached documents: We help you keep the documents of your receipts and outputs so that you can find the evidence of each order, in an easy and safe way

How to use the Looker Studio connector with Stock&Trace?
Create data source from connector gallery
1. To enter the connector gallery from Looker Studio, click on the Create button.
2. Select the Data source option.
3. Look for the connector in the search box and click on the connector card. Then proceed to the configuration and/or authentication.
Data source: Auth
1. Once the connector is opened in the browser you will be able to see a screen like the one shown below. Looker Studio must first be authorized to access the Google account that is generating the data source. Once authorized, credentials will be requested for authentication in Stock & Trace.
-
User Path
-
Username
-
Password
Data source: Configuration
1. In the configuration shown below, a BQI report must be chosen.
-
Datasource name: Name located at the top right corner, is recommended to change it so is easier to organize.
-
Base report: El reporte BQI de Stock&Trace que se tomará como base para consultar la información.
-
Instance: El nombre de tu instancia de Stock & Trace sin la URL completa, por ejemplo: "demo"
2. After choosing the base report and instance, additional configuration fields will be displayed based on the selected BQI.
See the References section for additional configuration fields.
3. Once you fill the required fields, press the Connect button to complete the configuration.
Data source: Fields
1. The data source fields and editing options will then be displayed. At the top right are the Create Report and Explorer buttons, which are the options to generate a report or Explorer.
Learn more in the Looker Studio help.
Reporting
2. Next, select the Report option.
3. Once the report has been created, a data source must be added by clicking on the Add data option. Then, once the data source has been selected in the My data sources tab, click Add.
To avoid overloading the connector, it is important to pause updates while editing the report. This is achieved by pressing the Pause updates button at the top right of the screen.
Create an Explore
1. Explorers in Looker Studio are created in a similar way to reports. Click on the Create button.
2. Next, select the Explorer option.
3. Once the Explorer is created, a data source must be selected to start editing. Then, the data is loaded.
Learn how to edit an Explorer in the Looker Studio help.
Authentication
How to revoke access
When the connector is used for the first time, the username/password credentials are not saved in Looker Studio. The credentials are saved by the connector and tells Looker Studio if they are valid. Credentials never expire, unless in the Stock & Trace system they have been edited (eg. password change) or removed entirely. In those cases you will not be able to use the connector and all of your reports will stop working. If one of the aforementioned cases occurs, contact your administrator and re-enter your credentials to the connector.
Warning
Revoking access will cause the credentials to be removed from the connector and all data sources will stop working.
1. To revoke access, go to Looker Studio and in the connectors gallery. Then look for the connector card, click on the options button and select the Revoke access option.
2. If you want to edit one of the reports again, credentials will be requested to setup access.
Reference
Filter by data range
Some BQI reports have a date range control set from the time the connector creates the data source. When you add these data sources to reports and dashboards in Looker Studio, Looker Studio generates the default date range control.
Below is the list of BQI reports that have a default date range control:
Looker Studio Control
By default the date range control in Looker Studio will filter the last 28 days, excluding the actual date.
Filter by date mode
The date modes are predefined ranges in the connector settings. Once the data source is created, there is no way to change this range.
The available date modes are shown below.
Required filters
Below is the list of all BQI reports that require a filter:
BQI reports with a required filter (Datetime) can only be filtered by the start date, and the end date will always be ignored.
